Valuxe - Our Process

Valuxe offers a simplified, eight-step process for constructing a custom house. Our objective is to ensure that the construction process is seamless and stress-free, enabling you to enjoy the construction process. As your partner, we simplify each aspect of the home-building procedure as your vision takes form.

Our members will work with you on each aspect, every phase of the journey, from the initial design stage until handing over the keys and beyond. Moreover, we take responsibility for you, the planet, and our community carefully in all parts of our construction procedures.

Here is our eight-step process.

1 Initial Meeting & Consultation

The first step involves having a phone conversation and setting up a predetermined date for a face-to-face meeting. During this meeting and consultation, we will jot down your ideas of the ideal home and answer your queries that you might be having relating to your new house. So, in this session, we will ask several questions to comprehend better your new residence goals and how well we can help you reach them. In short, we will:

  • Discuss lifestyle requirements and overall home specifications.
  • Discuss budget
  • Assess the project’s feasibility

2 Preliminary Building Agreement

The Preliminary Building Agreement (PBA) will comprise the development of construction-ready architectural plans, the BASIX report, a variety of specialized studies and surveys, site assessment, and engineering design. Every report provides a full picture and allows us to account for all anticipated expenses to offer you a thorough, fixed-price bid proposal for the construction of your new house. The minimum 50-page tender will describe every aspect of your house.

In addition, the PBA comprises the Council Approval (Development Application) procedure. We will compile and present your papers and plans to the Council. While the Council approves your plans, you will finish all showroom consultations and make choices. Your options will then be included in your fixed-price bid, eliminating the need for changes or unforeseen expenses throughout the construction process.

The PBA is unique to each residence and depends on your site’s placement and Council criteria. We will assist you in identifying the essential home improvement tasks so that a fixed-price tender may be offered.

3Concept Design

Our concept proposal includes developing a custom-designed master plan for your house in collaboration with our designer. We will understand your vision, ideas and expectations and bring them into life via 3D designs. Also, we try to bring in the best of seven principles in our concept design, including balance, contrast, scale, movement and rhythm, pattern, unity and emphasis. Throughout this process, we will provide advice and ideas from a competent and realistic builder’s viewpoint. As a result, this guarantees that your design is compatible with the budget you want to spend on your new house.

The concept proposal includes a comprehensive first estimate based on your idea designs for constructing a new house. Furthermore, the concept proposal will have an initial budget estimate, check all the construction requirements, your complete construction timeline, and how to reach us throughout the entire construction phase. We will only move after you are happy with the final designs of your new home. With it, we put forth the idea of the design and its importance and how you would benefit.

4 Tender and Contract

We will develop the Home construction contract and other necessary paperwork upon acceptance of the finalised fixed-price bid. Following that, we will have a meeting where you need to sign all the required documentation and ask any questions you might have.

5 Deposit and Approval

When we get your house’s certificate of insurance (HBCF), we will need a 5% advance of the contract amount. After receiving your final approval, advance, and signed documents, we will move toward the next step.

6 Construction

Rejoice in the foundation of your new residence and monitor your home’s construction progress while we construct your house. Here, development starts, and your new house takes shape. You will regularly attend key stage evaluations of your house throughout the building process.

7 Practical Completion

This is the day when your entire building completion will be over, and you will have a walk through the newly constructed property. You will get a thorough overview before the handover, and this is your chance to voice any concerns you may have.

8Handover & Support

After all the things, we will hand over the keys to you. Now, you are ready to move into your new house. You will also have a maintenance term of 90 days to fix any necessary issues. This includes access to tradesmen and supplies to keep your house far above your expectations. We will send you frequent emails to keep you updated on what is necessary at different stages following the handover process.
